Careers Information Advice and Guidance

CAREERS INFORMATION ADVICE AND GUIDANCE

At HPRS, one of our most important aims is to ensure our pupils are ready to move onto a successful future path at the point that they leave us.

To this end, HPRS ensures that all pupils in years 7-11 have opportunities to:

Access impartial advice and guidance from a qualified careers advisor
Explore further education and apprenticeships opportunities
Engage with a range of local training providers and employers
Apply for further education courses or employment positions

An overview of how we achieved this can be viewed on our ‘Careers Provision Overview’ below; this document outlines the intended learning outcomes through KS3 and KS4 alongside examples of activities and events.

Additionally, you can access the HPRS Career Programme Policy and Provider Access Policy here. Within these policies you can find:

  • The name and contact details of the school’s careers lead
  • A summary of the HPRS careers programme, including details of how pupils, parents, carers, teachers and employers can access further information
  • how HPRS measures and assesses the programme’s impact on pupils
  • the date by which HPRS will review this information
