Early Help
Welcome to HPRS’s Early Help offer which is in place to support families and young people facing challenges.
The support we provide aims to address issues early on preventing situations from escalating and promoting positive outcomes for children and families. Our Early Help offer encompasses a wide range of support, providing access to various resources and services.
Early Help means providing families with support as soon as a problem emerges, at any point in a child’s life. This could include:
· Targeted family support
· Family relationships
· Behaviours that are challenging
· Housing and financial difficulties
· Social, emotional and mental health
· Safety in the community
· Support with attendance
Support within School
AT HPRS we endeavour to create a school ethos that promotes trust between all adults and children so that any concerns and worries are expressed effectively and in a timely manner. No matter how small, we will listen to these anxieties so that all our pupils are safeguarded effectively. If you need help or support, please do not hesitate to contact us so we can begin the Early Help process:

The Steer Clear Project - When young people live in communities where they don’t feel safe, sometimes carrying a weapon can feel like the only way to stay safe.
From autumn 2023, Steer Clear will work with young people under 18 across West Mercia to change things for the better and build safer communities for everyone.
Through education and support, we aim to improve young people’s understanding of knife crime and offer alternative solutions, aiming to reduce serious youth violence.
